Thank you for choosing to support PiCC United. Whether you have supported our work with a membership or a purchase from our webshop, you will receive an order confirmation with information about the number of items and memberships as well as the total price including all costs.
Purchase of Membership
When you become a member of our patient platform or purchase items from our webshop, you will receive an order confirmation with details about your purchases and membership. The total price will be stated in the order confirmation.
Types of Memberships There is essentially only one type of membership as defined in the association’s statutes. The difference between a regular membership and a supporting membership is:
- Private Members – Payment method (free)
- Supporting Members fee: EUR 25 annually (set by the general assembly)
- Profesionelle member fee: EUR 2500 annually (set by the general assembly)
Membership and Contributions to PiCC United.
There is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of membership or paid contributions. The contributions support PiCC United’s work on patient engagement.
Rights All content on the membership platform and in PiCC United’s training, courses, webinars, and digital materials are protected by copyright. Copying, quoting, and distributing the content is illegal.
Violations In case of copyright infringement, PiCC United’s is entitled to a penalty of EUR 120,000 per infringement. Continued violations will incur a monthly penalty. U-PICC may also seek an injunction without security.
Recommendations The recommendations in PiCC United’s materials and courses are for informational purposes and cannot replace medical advice or treatment. PiCC United assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from the use of this content.
Payment Terms for Education, Webinars, and Courses:
- PiCC United offers links to third-party websites to simplify internet use. PiCC United assumes no responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the content.
- All other content, except for educational and learning materials, is created with usual care and is only for general information. It does not guarantee specific purposes for users.
- Educational materials are only for educational purposes and created with usual care.
- PiCC United assumes no responsibility for the use of educational materials for purposes other than education.
- PiCC United does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of educational material after the first publication or update.
- PiCC United’s liability under mandatory law remains unaffected.
Registration and Payment Your registration for education, courses, and webinars is binding and valid upon payment. The registration applies to the entire course.
Cancellation Cancellation within 14 days before the course start is subject to an administration fee of 10% of the full course price plus VAT. Cancellation less than 14 days before the start is non-refundable, but you can transfer your spot to another person.
Changes and Cancellations Changes will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. In case of cancellation, the full amount will be refunded. If a single day is canceled, it will be replaced with a new date.
Liability PiCC United’s liability for damages is limited to direct damages and losses and a maximum of 50% of the price of the service in question.
Purchase of Goods
Use of Spread Connect in Shop
At PiCC United, we use the Spread Connect platform during our Shops to ensure a better and more engaging experience for merchandise. Spread Connect helps facilitate communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing in real time.
How We Use Spread Connect:
- We use the platform to collect and share feedback, provide important updates, and incorporate interactive elements throughout our shops.
- Buyers can communicate and collaborate using Spread Connect’s features, creating an open and secure environment for knowledge exchange.
Data Handling and Privacy:
- Buyers in the shop are using Spread Connect, and you agree to their terms and conditions, including their Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is managed.
- PiCC United does not collect any sensitive personal information via Spread Connect, aside from what is necessary to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
- We comply with GDPR regulations, and your data will always be treated confidentially, in accordance with both our privacy policies and those of Spread Connect.
Participant Conduct:
By buying in our shops and using Spread Connect, you agree to these terms.
Terms and Conditions for PiCC United shops via Spread Connect
By buying in PiCC United’s shops that integrate Spread Connect, you agree to the following terms, which ensure a positive and secure experience for all participants.
Payment and Registration Payment for buying in our workshops is made via our website. We accept common payment methods such as credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and MobilePay. All prices are listed in EUR and include VAT. Your registration is binding once payment is received.
Cancellation Policy You have the right to cancel your registration within 14 days of purchase, provided the workshop has not yet taken place. If you wish to cancel, please contact us in writing via hello @piccunited.org. However, the cancellation policy does not apply if you have already attended any part of the workshop via Spread Connect.
Cancellation and Changes PiCC United reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops if necessary, due to illness or technical issues, for example. In the event of cancellation, you will be offered a new date or a full refund of your payment.
Complaints If you experience technical issues with your access to the workshop via Spread Connect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved, you are entitled to a refund of your participation fee.
Data Handling By participating in workshops via Spread Connect, you agree to their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. PiCC United will not share personal information beyond what is necessary to facilitate the workshop. We comply with GDPR regulations and ensure your data is handled responsibly.
