You and Your Advocacy Group
At PiCC United, we are committed to strengthening the role of patient organisations by enhancing the working conditions, visibility and well-being of patient representatives. We advocate for clear, transparent contracts and fair compensation, helping patient representatives engage meaningfully without compromising their livelihoods.
To support long-term engagement, we offer webinars on advocacy management and self-care, specifically designed for patient and carer advocates. In addition, we developed a self-help manual tailored to the challenges faced by patient representatives. We have also established support groups that provide safe spaces to connect, share experiences and support each other. We develop checklists and offer targeted webinars on goal-setting and planning.
We share success stories and best practices from other advocates to inspire and motivate our members.
