To ensure a safe, respectful and inclusive community, we ask all members to follow the rules below. Failure to follow these rules may lead to expulsion.
- Respectful communication: All members are expected to treat each other with respect. Personal attacks, derogatory comments or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Confidentiality: Do not share personal or sensitive information without consent. Privacy and security are essential.
- Meaningful engagement: Posts and comments should be relevant to patient engagement and the topics discussed in the forum. Spam, adverts or irrelevant content is not allowed.
- Diversity and Inclusion: PiCC United Forum values diversity. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or other identity is strictly prohibited.
- Moderation and reporting: If you see inappropriate behaviour, please report it to the moderators. We reserve the right to expel members who do not follow the rules.
- Recruitment of patients and carers: Offering to recruit for tasks or projects outside the cooperation with PiCC United is not allowed. This is considered a serious violation of our rules and may lead to expulsion from the forum.
- First offence: Written warning informing you of the offence.
- Repeated offences: Temporary suspension and review of behaviour.
- Serious or persistent offences: Permanent ban with no possibility of reinstatement
Consequences for Violations
Failure to comply with our Code of Conduct will lead to the following:
- First offence: You will receive a written warning informing you which rule you have violated.
- Repeated offences: For repeated offences, your access will be suspended for a limited period of time. The moderators will review your behaviour and resumption of participation in the forum will be at their discretion.
- Serious or continued violations: Serious violations or continued problematic behaviour will result in permanent expulsion from the PiCC United Forum with no possibility of reinstatement.
